Duffy Theatre 4.4.11 New Zealand Post.

Kiri from the Foxton Library talked to us about getting a library card for free.

Here we all are doing the swish clap.

Awesome actors and singers.
We invited the day care up to visit and watch our show. They had great fun sitting with the children from Room Two. We were so lucky to get two Duffy visits in one day. The show was at 11.15 this morning. We all had a wonderful time.

Mrs Shirley Corlett visited Foxton Beach School this afternoon. Shirley has been a writer all her life but has only been published in the last 15 years. Her first book "The Hanging Sky" was an adult history book and we found out it took her 10 years to write this book. She has since written young adult books including "The Stolen" which won the Tom Fitzgibbon Memorial Award. She was also shortlisted for the 2005 New Zealand Book of the year.
